We Install Pre-Fab Tankless Water Heaters and Boilers

Installing a tankless boiler or water heater is a complex job that should only be handled by a qualified plumber. Contact Duell Plumbing & Heating for pre-fab tankless water heater or boiler installation. Our master plumber has over 40 years of experienced, and we are licensed and insured for your protection.

Tankless systems only make hot water when you open the tap, so there's no wasted energy heating and storing water you don't use. In addition to the energy savings you have an endless supply of hot water. Traditional systems may struggle to fill a large tub or keep up with the needs of your family. That is never an issue with a tankless hot water heater.

We work exclusively with Navien units for their high ratings, reliability, and affordable pricing. For more information, give us a call today.

Advantages of a Tankless Water Heater

Energy Savings / Operating Costs
The first thought on tank-less water heaters is generally: how much energy/money am I really going to save? While a tank-less water heater costs more upfront, your operating costs down the line will start to make up for it. What you’re saving is in not having to spend money on standby heat, meaning you’re not wasting money heating water in a tank that’s just sitting idly waiting for someone to need hot water. Tank-less systems provide that hot water on demand, when you need it, so you don’t have to waste energy heating unused water. In fact, the Department of Energy estimates an energy savings of 30% – 50% on natural gas consumption.

Typically, a tank-type water heater is 56%-65% efficient whereas a tank-less unit is up to 98% efficient! Click here for an energy cost calculator made available by the federal government to find out just how much your particular household can save. To boot, save a little on the upfront cost by receiving a rebate from National Grid  or NYSEG.

Lifespan
While a typical tank water heater is supposed to last 10 to 13 years, tank-less water heaters are estimated to last up to or more than 20 years. If you’re planning to stay in your home for a while, that’s a hefty replacement fee you’re saving. Even if you’re not going to stay in your home for that long, it’s nice to pay it forward towards the overall cost savings of home ownership and potentially increase the resale value of your home.

Space Savings
Even if you weren’t concerned about saving money and energy, one of the big advantages of tank-less water heaters is the potential space savings. Traditional water heaters with 40 to 60 gallon capacity are generally around 60″ tall and 24″ wide. That bulky metal tank can take up precious real estate in a home where space is at a premium. A tank-less water heater, in comparison, might be the size of a large computer, perhaps 20″ wide by 28″ tall and just 10″ deep.

Safety/Risk
A review of homeowners’ insurance claims resulting from water heater failures from multiple insurance companies around the country revealed:
1. Water heater failures are one of the top five sources of residential water losses.
2. 69% of all water heater failures result from a slow leak or a sudden burst.
3. Water heater failures cost an average of $4,444 per incident after the deductible was paid.

When you install a tank-less water heater in your New York home, you will:
*Get an endless supply of hot water
*Save up to 30%-50% on natural gas consumption (DOE)
*Save space
*Save energy with Eco-friendly technology
*Receive a 15 year warranty
*Receive a $470 REBATE from National Grid or a $170 rebate from NYSEG
